The October issue of Borderline is available for downloading - for free! I find myself eagerly waiting month after month for the release of this well-written online comic zine. The articles are always interesting and the tone is light years away from the mindless (though equally entertaining in its own fanboy way Wizard Magazine.

A new book I'm adding to my "must-get" list is "The Thief Lord" by German author Cornelia Funke about a group of kids who steal and search for a key that operates a "mythical merry-go-round that, for those who ride it, restores youth to adults and makes children grow up." That and the follow up to "Kushiel's Dart", "Kushiel's Chosen".
