The 59th Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature was held last night at the Manila Pen. Great food, great company (I especially loved National Artist Bien's speech)- kudos to all the winners (especially to Kate, Eliza, Paolo, Luis, Anne, Ferdinand Balino and the 'winningest' Ed Maranan!)
